FAMILY&FRIENDS,I PRAY THAT YOU HAVE A BLESS NEW YEAR AND YOUR FOREVER IN MY PRAYERS. GOD BLESS YOU!Let it go for 2007..There are people who can walk away from you.And hear me when I tell you this! When people can walk away from you: let them walk. I don't want you to try to talk another person into staying with you, loving you, calling you, caring about you, coming to see you, staying attached to you. I mean hang up the phone. When people can walk away from you let them walk. Your destiny is never tied to anybody that left. The bible said that, they came out from us that it might be made manifest that they were not for us. For had they been of us, no doubt they would have continued with us. [1 John 2:19]People leave you because they are not joined to you. And if they are not joined to you, you can't make them stay.Let them go.And it doesn't mean that they are a bad person it just means that their part in the story is over. And you've got to know when people's part in your story is over so that you don't keep trying to raise the dead. You've got to know when it's dead. You've got to know when it's over. Let me tell you something. I've got the gift of good-bye. It's the tenth spiritual gift, I believe in good-bye. It's not that I'm hateful, it's that I'm faithful, and I know whatever God means for me to have He'll give it to me. And if it takes too much sweat I don't need it. Stop begging people to stay.Let them go!!If you are holding on to something that doesn't belong to you and was never intended for your life, then you need to......LET IT GO!!!If you are holding on to past hurts and pains ......LET IT GO!!!If someone can't treat you right, love you back, and see your worth.....LET IT GO!!!If someone has angered you .LET IT GO!!!If you are holding on to some thoughts of evil and revenge......LET IT GO!!!If you are involved in a wrong relationship or addiction......LET IT GO!!!If you are holding on to a job that no longer meets your needs or talentsLET IT GO!!!If you! u have a bad attitude.......LET IT GO!!!If you keep judging others to make yourself feel better......LET IT GO!!!If you're stuck in the past and God is trying to take you to a new level in Him......LET IT GO!!!If you are struggling with the healing of a broken relationship.......LET IT GO!!!If you keep trying to help someone who won't even try to help themselves......LET IT GO!!!If you're feeling depressed and stressed .........LET IT GO!!!If there is a particular situation that you are so used to handling yourself and God is saying "take your hands off of it," then you need to......LET IT GO!!!Let the past be the past. Forget the former things. GOD is doing a new thing for 2007!!!LET IT GO!!!Get Right or Get Left .. think about it, and then .LET IT GO!!!"The Battle is the Lord's
MY BROTHERS KILLER FOUND GUILTY!!!!Oswego man found guilty in cab driver's murderBy Matt Hanley and Greg Presto Staff WriterSST. CHARLES TOWNSHIP — After a weeklong trial, a 21-year-old Oswego man was found guilty Friday of the 2003 murder of an Aurora taxi driver.Charles Hill was found guilty of first-degree murder after a jury ruled beyond a reasonable doubt that he fired the weapon that killed Janial Osborn, 41, in his taxi on July 16, 2003, assistant state's attorney Clint Hull said. The other passengers in the cab — Darnell Wade, Ryan Joyner and Cecil Hubbard — were not charged.A date has not been set for Hill's sentencing, but it could occur Oct. 27, Hull said. The convicted man faces a minimum of 45 years in prison.Upon learning the verdict, Hill reacted violently, struggling and fighting with deputies before ultimately being detained."He went berserk," Hull said of the reaction. "I have never seen anything like it in a courtroom."Prosecutors alleged that Hill shot Osborn after a short ride from the East Side of Aurora to the 900 block of Old Indian Trail Road. As the four men were getting out of the car, Hill allegedly shot Osborn in the head, neck, wrist and hand.Another cab driver found his vehicle, still in reverse, on the lawn of an apartment complex on Old Indian Trail.Throughout the trial, prosecutors had tried to connect Hill to the sale of the alleged murder weapon and show that he talked to others about the murder in recorded conversations. After Osborn was shot, one of Hill's friends sold the gun to a drug user. Hill also was heard in recorded telephone conversations played in court, telling others not to worry about the murder because it had nothing to do with them.Throughout the case, prosecutors struggled to get the other people who were in the car to cooperate during testimony. Many of them claimed not to remember the events of that day, or just refused to testify altogether. The men's previous grand jury testimony had to be read into the record during the trial. One of the men, Ryan Joyner — who one witness put in the cab with Hill — was even jailed for contempt of court for refusing to testify. The victim's family rejoiced after the verdict and said that they would be able to rest easy for the first time in a long while."We're still jumping for joy," said Alvin Osborn, the victim's brother. "My family would like to thank the judge, jury, all the police and the state's attorney's office. They did one hell of a job putting this case together, and my family thanks them. Justice was definitely served."The defense attorney, Kathleen Colton, was unavailable for comment.09/17/06

The Music Motion Picture "Dreamgirls" Biography About Jennifer Hudson. A source of perpetual inspiration to millions of young hopefuls, African American pop diva-turned-actress Jennifer Hudson proved with glorious bravado that the most gifted and determined young talents can bounce back from a painful and public rejection and land squarely at the pinnacle of success, transcending even what they might have accomplished had the initial rejection never occurred. Born September 12, 1981, in Chicago, IL, Hudson was blessed with an astounding vocal range of six octaves and a perfect musical ear as a young girl, and rigorously trained as a chanteuse from the age of seven, initially in her Baptist church choir, then in dozens upon dozens of stage musicals and talent shows during adolescence. After high school, she briefly attended college but dropped out not long after. In 2002, 21-year-old Hudson landed a job as featured vocalist on the Disney Wonder cruise ship. Circa 2004, with American audiences deep in the throes of reality television, Hudson auditioned in Atlanta, GA, for the third season of Fox's American Idol series, made the cut, and quickly moved along to the semifinalist round. Her songs as a participant in the series included Whitney Houston's "I Have Nothing," Elton John's "The Circle of Life," and Martha & the Vandellas' "(Love Is Like a) Heat Wave." Though Ryan Seacrest later indicated that Hudson received a higher number of votes than any performer from a previous episode, Hudson was unceremoniously eliminated from the running. Reigning judge Randy Jackson a highly respected music producer brought Hudson back in the "wildcard" round to join the finalists, but with seven contenders remaining, Hudson was booted off of the series despite the well-publicized fact that her range and ability clearly outflanked those of her competitors. That decision infuriated millions; Elton John a previous guest judge on Idol accused Simon Cowell and others of stark racism, while other commentators, acknowledging that two of Hudson's competitors were also African American, suspected a deliberate decision to split the contenders demographically. Regardless of the reason, Hudson quickly overcame her disappointment. She later reflected, "The Idol judges told me, 'Everything about you is too much....Your voice is too much. Your look is too much. Your hair is too much.' I didn't understand. Isn't that what a star is: bigger than average?" In late 2005, Hudson auditioned among 783 hopefuls for the lead role of Effi "Melody" White, a female vocalist unfairly ousted from the ranks of a three-member female pop group in the early '60s because, ironically, her "look" isn't right in Chicago scribe Bill Condon's hotly anticipated late 2006 film musical Dreamgirls. an adaptation of the early '80s Tony award winning Broadway hit.
