The team is getting set to film for the 3rd Flow DVD, which looks like it will top the last release. Newly acquired Team Manager, Pasi "Bigman" Posti (Switch, Environment, i am FLOW) is getting the team psyched to tear up the streets this summer! Watch out!

Weekly Grind:
Heard round the World
You've seen it on TV, heard about it on the radio and bumped into it on the web. Last week, Blind Pro Jake Brown made history with the greatest slam of all time at the 13th X Games. Landing a perfect 7 on the MegaRamp, he wobbled on his setup for a 540 on the quarter pipe and was left with no chance but to meet the maso after a 50 foot drop. I watched this over and over again, and still couldn't believe it. Left with only minor injuries to boot, our pal Jake is living to tell the tale as widely as on foreign satellite TV. He's doing well, but is hoping the media headache will soon pass him by. Get well Jake
Olympics or Not?
With the Beijing 08’ games around the corner, there is more talk than ever about the possibility of skateboarding in the Olympics. The line is drawn between skaters everywhere, debating how “real†the Olympics would be for skateboarding. For many, the X-Games has brought skateboarding to that next level and feel the Olympic Games would do the same. On the other hand, skaters around the World are speaking up for skateboarding, claiming it has no place in a sporting event of this magnitude.
I know for all that would weigh in, it comes to the deeper issue, if it would really matter to you as a skater. That’s what I ask myself. Read this article from the NY times to learn more about the chit chat. http://www.nytimes.com/2007/08/05/sports/othersports/05xgame

Pro Team Update
Our Pros are in full swing this summer and have this to update. Our behind the scenes man, Josh Evin is getting ready to bust out again, in his fresh new shoes, as his shoulder surgery is fully healed up. Having had a preventative operation two months ago, he’s prepared for another round of destiny on his Premium Wood. Undoubtedly busy in his off time, he’s set to launch www.joshevin.com a website all about his skate prowess. Pierre is rounding up his senses at home following the X-Games, polishing his rims on his Benz and his medals that he took home last week. His shoe / hat / shirt combo is set to drop for Back to School season, so look out for that. Jesse Landen is on the road with Josh Evin in Southern Ontario on the Skate White North Tour shredding parks and doing signings along the way. Apart from that, our talented musician is singing the tune of good things with his new board out on ATM, another Dew Tour stop to take a swing at and a decent amount of photos and video he’s sitting on. Keep in the look out for these guys as the lead the team to bigger and better things this year!
