I grew up a preacher's kid and got into playing bass in my parents church. I started out on drums, I took classical piano lessons for the better part of 10 years and played alto sax in junior high band. In high school, I was involved in choir but it was evident that bass was the instrument for me. In 89', I started jamming with a fusion jazz group consisting of Barney Hector - Guitar, David Spicer - Guitar, and Steve Lane - Drums. Eventually, we went in and recorded several songs. I sent this tape into White Heart to be considered for an audition. After two auditions, I was asked to join the band and shortly thereafter moved to Nashville. I spent the next few years recording and touring with White Heart and the rest is history. I've had the honor of playing with some truly talented folks in both Christian and Country music like: Matthew West, Amy Grant, Michael W. Smith, Martina McBride, Phil Keaggy, Susan Ashton, Jimmy Wayne, Wes King, Point Of Grace, Kim Hill, Charity Von, Israel Houghton, Greg Long, Jill Parr, and the countless others who have been kind enough to have me on their project.I'm available for sessions in studios or at home.
