Sincerely yours...the Smooth Operator!!

About Me

I am a beautiful man, inside and out! I'm not perfect, but I'm perfect for any lady. I have no children and have never been married, but would love to walk down the aisle someday with the woman God has chosen for me. I am the nicest, sweetest guy I know and hopefully the woman God chooses for me will know the same. I am a gentleman, I believe in chivalry. Some say it's dead, but I am keeping it alive. Just like Sade says, I am the smooth operator! No need to ask why, it's just the way it is. I am also the romantic type. Nothing beats candlelit dinners and walking on the beach with the moon and stars out. I also like making people smile and laugh. Some people think I am crazy, but in a good way. But if you are my friend, then I would do anything I could for you! I would give you all my blood, jump in front of bullets, walk through hell for my friends. If you think that's crazy, then so be it. I would literally die so that the people I care about and love could live, BELIEVE THAT!!! Myspace Graphics

My Interests

I love mathematics, I will become a math professor in the near future, so that I may properly educate young men and women to prepare them for the rigors of the real world. I also love deep conversations, writing poetry, and reading good books. I am also a huge sports fan, so if you love the University of North Carolina Tarheels basketball team, we will get along just fine!

I'd like to meet:

Ladies of all types. I do not discriminate, a lady is a beautiful flower planted firmly in God's garden. Some have been uprooted, but can be enriched again in God's soil. I love girls, girls, girls, girls, girls I do adore...I would also like to meet every last one of my ladies on Myspace, give them a big hug, and thank them for blessing me with their beauty and friendship. It might be stretching it, but I would like to do that. I would also like to meet my Grandmother again. She's in Heaven now, I wish I could spend some time with her...

Music:

Smooth jazz like Sade. She is my all time favorite vocalist. And she's damn sexy! I love 80's music, whether it's pop, R&B, or rap. I really can't get into today's music. I love slow jams, if you play "If Only You Knew" by Patti Labelle, I will probably tear up. As you can see and hear fronm the list below, I like a wide range of music, mostly from the 60's, 70's and 80's. I hope you like my taste in music. In a previous life, I was a DJ (believe it or not), so my musical accumen is extensive!

Movies:

My 2 favorite movies are Forrest Gump and The Color Purple. I love horror movies, the ladies I have taken to see them seem to like to cuddle close to me. The Exorcist is the scariest movie I have ever seen. Recently, the movie series that has impressed me the most is the Saw series. I highly recommend watching Saw, Saw 2 and Saw 3. In no order, the 10 greatest movies I have ever seen are; Forrest Gump, The Color Purple, The Green Mile, Gladiator, The Exorcist, Malcolm X, A Time to Kill, Ray, Million Dollar Baby, and Philadelphia. I'm not into tear-jerkers much, but as long as I am with a young lady, I am down for whatever...I also love comedies, to me Friday is the funniest movie ever.

Television:

Family Guy, Robot Chicken, anything on TV Land, Sportscenter. I don't watch much TV, except reruns of classic shows. To me, they don't make TV shows like they used to. I also love old cartoons, so forgive me if I like the Smurfs, Tom and Jerry, Scooby Doo...and all the old school cartoon from the 60's, 70's and 80's. But Family Guy is my favorite, to me it's better than the Simpsons!

Books:

I mostly read autobiographies and the Bible. The Bible is the best book anyone could read! I mostly read my math textbooks because I have to study so much...

Heroes:

My grandmother was my hero. She was the strongest person I ever knew. She's in heaven now, looking down on me. I hope I have made her proud!

Why do good guys like bad girls?

I have to give credit where credit is due.  I was talking to a good friend the other night (and you know who you are).  We were talking about my last blog and she responded that it's the sam...

Why do good girls like bad boys?

I am a gentleman in every sense of the word.  I believe in holding open doors for women, paying for dates, etc.  In other words, I "treat em like a lady".  Unfortuneately, it seems like...

One door closes...

It's pretty strange, when you fall in love with someone and it's not reciprocated.  When that happens, and you are so hung up on one person, you close yourself off from the rest of the world.&nbs...

Being an uncle

On April 8, 2001, the Lord blessed me with a nephew.  Since I don't have kids of my own, I consider him as a son of mine.  He's 5 years old now, and when he was born, it was a touch and go s...

What about your friends

One of my favorite old school jams of all-time is "Friends" by Whodini.  How many of us have them?  It's funny, but it seems as if the number of friends that you actually have dwindles in si...
