Adam sutcliffe is the first person in calderdale to receive the platinum youth achievement award. the youth achievement awards have been delevoped by calderdale councils youth service in partnership with the national awarding body asdan. adam achieved the award for his work at Phoenix Fm, Dean Clough, Halifax. To gain the top award adam, had to help train and support other young people working towards their own asdan youth achievement award. He Taught them how to use Adobe photoshop, Cool Edit and recording equipment. He said: "it was very difficult..I had to Do lesson plans and help the students on a daily basis. But i liked seeing people enjoy the music they made and was rewarding for me to recieve a qualification."
