LIVE MUSIC ACROSS THE WORLDChrisChris is a born-and-raised San Antonio native. Chris began playing the piano at the age of seven and shortly thereafter picked up a guitar at age nine. His father being a musician, they teamed up by the time Chris was ten years old and began working the club and wedding scene in San Antonio. While his primary instrument has always been piano, it was in Chris’ early teen years that he began to master the guitar and learn to play clarinet, saxophone, and flute as well. By age thirteen, he was regarded by many other musicians and educators as a child prodigy for his skill at musical arrangements, music theory, and his virtuosity on the piano and keyboards. It was during this time that he was pursued by other bands in the region and began to freelance live performances as well as studio work. Chris began working with Claudette in 1997 and together they were one of the most successful duos and bands in the state of Texas, even playing as far away as Arizona, Las Vegas, California, and now all over the world.Claudette & ChrisClaudette and Chris have spent their lives in music. While in their hometown, they established themselves as not only musicians of the highest caliber, but as the most professional. They had great relationships with the most prominent people in San Antonio and state of Texas. They were the most popular duo in the city and ran “Claudette & After Hours”, one of the most successful bands in the region. When they moved to Las Vegas in 2005, they were celebrated among affluent local crowds until they were called up to a six-month, six night-a-week contract at the world famous Luxor Hotel & Casino. While it usually takes years to break into the Las Vegas Strip, Claudette & Chris were performing on the Strip after only living in Las Vegas for six months. After spending three years in Las Vegas and performing at the top venues on the Strip and in the city, they were approached by a very prominent music agent that needed a new act for a new cruise ship concept. “The World”, the world’s first ever residential ship, needed a new duo that was versatile, professional, and talented for their discriminating, very upscale clientele. Claudette & Chris beat out a couple of other acts for the position and have now performed all over Italy, Spain, Greece, France, Africa, and the Middle East. Having done all this in only eleven years, the rest of Claudette & Chris’ legacy remains to be written.
