Born Darre’ Jamar Johnson on May 12, 1985 in Inkster, MI (Metro-Detroit Area). He is the youngest of two in single parent household. Even though he lived a fatherless life, he and his mother and sister lived with his grandparents. Growing up in the heart of hood, he was exposed to the evil life of the streets. But he kept his eyes on other things such as basketball and music.After enduring an underground rap career as a young fresh artist in Inkster, he began to create a buzz that no artist in his age group had ever developed. With animated lyrics and outrageous punch lines, he was as the best lyricist in all Compton Block (a hood in Inkster). He and a child hood friend, Baby J (Jerald Anderson) began to record a tape that would soon be loved by everyone from his part of town. However it wasn’t enough to earn the money that was needed. He then became employed at the city’s recreational center. There he would meet two guys from the other side of Inkster that had already established themselves as the premier rappers of ATA (Across the Ave). Over hearing Young Ray free styling, those two members invited him to the studio with them in which he accepted. They would later release a mixtape that would stir up the entire city and give them the place in the town they earned and deserved.Later down the line, after leaving the group, he found himself in Kalamazoo, MI at college. While on basketball scholarship, he searched for a new sound that would set him far from the style he used while with H.M.T. Then he met a local DJ (Dj Heavymoney) from Philly that was looking for an artist to work with. They quickly created a friendship and worked day and night on a classic mixtape, “Tha Ambushâ€. This project launched great success and they are now venturing into many new projects.Young Ray Rizzy has now created MoLove M.O.B.B. that has an outstanding roster. Young Ray Rizzy had also become a member of one of the east coasts most famous underground labels, Urban Glory Records. He has also became one of Inkster’s top producers among a huge list, and has produced Urban Glory Records own C.Floyd’s smash hit “Anytime Anyplace†& “I Smell Like Money†(http://www.myspace.com/cfloydmusic).He is currently working on his first street album “Goonie Muzikâ€.
