I haven't read many books (not a real bookworm), but from the few that I have read, my favorite would have to be "Anthem" by Ayn Rand. Second to that one would definitely be "The DaVinci Code" by Dan Brown and "Angels & Demons", also by Dan Brown. Also "The Color Of Water" by James McBride and "Always Running" by Luis J. Rodriguez.
