Avocations: Occasional freelance writer and photographer; Author of two history books; Lighthouse history lecturer; Historical researcher; Bassist for Juke House.
Hobbies: Reading; Gardening; Motorcycling (Ducati S2R1000 and Honda CBR1000F); Blogging; Collecting musical instruments; Collecting Russian matryoshki (wooden nesting dolls); Collecting antique and contemporary handmade marbles.
Volunteering: Occasional volunteer at several Long Island lighthouses.

Stuff I'm doing now (besides working): Playing bass with Juke House. Getting my first children's book ready to market to publishers (only about three more revisions to go!). Researching the history of the cemeteries of Long Island. Studying.
What I might do in the near future: Write more history books; Get back into photography; Buy more guitars, basses, amps, and motorcycles; Probably do some stuff I don't even know about right now.
