THE NAME
The name Alpha Lambda Omega collectively illustrates the Lamb of God, Jesus Christ, who is the beginning and the end. This is revealed in Rev. 5:12, "Worthy is the Lamb that was slain, to receive power and wealth and wisdom and glory and honor and praise!" Moreover, in Rev. 1:8 the Lord says, "I am the Alpha and the Omega, who is, who was, and who is to come the Almighty."
THE SYMBOL
Sheep are the symbol of our sorority. Sheep were chosen because, "we are the sheep of His pasture," according to Psalms 100:3.
THE COLORS
The colors of the sorority are purple and scarlet. We see in Exodus 28 that God asked the Israelites to make priestly garments for Aaron and his brothers. They were told to use gold, blue, purple and scarlet. The colors purple and scarlet represent intersession and humanity. Therefore, these colors symbolize seeking Jesus while He intercedes for humanity.
