About Jo You may remember Jo from her most memorable days in the mega-global success S Club 7. But way before that, her career started out at as a caberet singer (going by the name of Joanna London) around her local area of Havering, London. From there she moved on to perform at numerous talent shows across the country, and at many winning the top acolade!) before joining the highly respected Italia Conti Stage School.
From there she was invited to join the girl band 'Solid HarmoniE'. Jo left them before they had a chance to hit the UK Top 40.
She then moved onto the continent with the band '2-4 Family' and had success there with the song 'Stay'. Many rumours at the time were flying around as to why Jo eventually left them, but still no on the outside really knows.
After leaving 2-4 Family, Jo took a bit of time out and settled into a job singing at a local Country & Western themed restraunt when she was spotted by 2 producers from 19 Management - from there the S Club story began.Four amazing years down the line, S Club 7 called it quits. Suffering from a rare back disease lead Jo to take a year out from the 2003 finale, and she finally hit the studio in 2004 to write and record what would be her first solo album, 'Relentless'. Early in 2006 Jo quit the music and fame scene all together after her appearance on the BBC enterainment show, 'Just The Two of Us', where she finished in a very respectable 3rd place with her on-screen partner, Chris Fountain (Justin, in Channel 4's Hollyoaks!)
In 2007 Jo participated in the now infamous Celebrity Big Brother. After her appearance on the show, Jo recieved death threats for her supposed bullying of a fellow housemate.
2008 promises to be a much better year for Jo as she has recently given birth to her first child - she currently has offers to work with Jermaine Jackson (brother of Jo's idol, Michael), whom she befriended in CBB and has also been offered work with other sources that for now remain un-named.
