Just me

About Me

Addicted to/married to work (3 jobs at the moment, 70-85 hour weeks)--healthcare claims adjustor and bartender. Have a CIS degree from High Point University but after 3.5 years @ Wachovia in what I thought would be my dream job (left in 2002), I can really no longer use it without going back to school. Technology and programming languages change so quickly that my knowledge/experience is stone age now! I've decided to scrap it & started at FTCC in Aug '06--trying desperately to get accepted into the radiography program.Since so many have asked (and I thank you--it's great when my friends come hang out at my bars and make the night so much more fun!!)... I'll TRY to update each week:The week of April 24th, I'll be at Butlers Mon 4:30-close (by myself), and Fri 6-close. Sunday is my last day at Bleu!!For Virginia Tech and the rest of this messed up world:"The Change", Garth Brooks"One hand reaches out and pulls a lost soul from harm. While a thousand more go unspoken for, they say what good have you done by saving just this one? It's like whispering a prayer in the fury of a storm. And I hear them saying you'll never change things And no matter what you do it's still the same thing But it's not the world that I am changing I do this so this world will know that it will not change meThis heart still believes That love and mercy still exist While all the hatred rage and so many say That love is all but pointless in madness such as this It's like trying to stop a fire With the moisture from a kissAnd I hear them saying you'll never change things And no matter what you do it's still the same thing But it's not the world that I am changing I do this so this world will know That it will not change meAs long as one heart still holds on Then hope is never really goneI hear them saying you'll never change things And no matter what you do it's still the same thing But it's not the world that I am changing I do this so this world we know Never changes meWhat I do is so This world will know That it will not change me"
