Max Paris-a TV journalist, and Chick Fanelli-an almost famous stage actor, sit on their favorite park bench, mired in a lover's quarrel as usual, when out of the darkness emerges a homeless drifter named John Wunder, baring an amazing tale of unconditional devotion, missed opportunity, and a thirty-year search for a woman named Alice. Max instantly comes up with an idea to help John find his true love and land her that anchor position she's been longing for - a reality show live from Central Park called IN SEARCH OF ALICE. But on their search for Alice, John helps Max and Chick discover something unexpected along the way - each other.
