Scoy

Canadian DJ Scoy became involved in club promotion in the 80s, when then the dancefloor was dominated by groundbreaking electronic music supergroups such as Depeche Mode and Kraftwerk. Week after week Scoy would be at the clubs, soaking up the new electronic sound sweeping the dancefloors. Over his lifetime Scoy claims to have logged more hours inside of a danceclub then any other man alive.

Hailing from Montreal, the city infamous for its 24 hour parties, Scoy became inspired by the emerging rave scene during the mid 90s. After several years of intense research, Scoy started producing his own electronic music events with the collective he formed called 'Vibesensor'. Together with respected local Montreal artists DJs Soundshaper, Maus, and others, they would go on to produce some of the most notorious underground tech house parties, such as Swayzak Live at the LivingBedroom in 1999.

Scoy has always been known by his DJ peers for his impeccable taste in music. When he started DJing by the end of the millennium he quickly became known for his deep rolling tech house sets. DJ Scoy has developed a reputation for always hitting the mark musically, whether its at the decks at a big party, a club, or a small lounge. Able to cross over many styles of electronic music, its a deep inspiring cord that ties together all of the tracks he puts down.

At the end of 2004 Scoy moved to the Caribbean under the new banner 'AFTER'. AFTER started producing events in the Dominican Republic in 2005 and Scoy the DJ has become a local favorite at some of the best clubs and parties. He has quickly developed a reputation in his new home for delivering the goods musically, each time he's called upon to shake the dance floor. Recently he has shared the stage with such artists such as John Acquaviva, Toni Rios, M.A.N.D.Y. & Pig & Dan.

In April of 2006 AFTER broke new ground by producing the Caribbean Electronic Music Festival (CEMF .06) which drew over 10,000 music lovers over 36 hours on the Caribbean beach of Cabarete.
