Peryton hearkens back to heavy, psych/rock blues-based guitar riffs along the lines of Cream, Blue Cheer, Pentagram, Sir Lord Baltimore, or Captain Beyond. Add bit of hand on the hip Stones-soul swagger, Neil Young’s Crazy Horse rearing in the Black Sabbath of night, and a dash of banshee-bravado singing a-la miss Janis, and you get a glimpse of the beast that is Peryton. We strive to create a sound fit for the gods that sit atop the highest tree on the highest mountain in the highest universe. High being the key word here.
A few of the bands Peryton (and its former karmic incarnations) has played and worked with include the likes of The Vacation, The Binges, Gravy Train, producer Jeff Saltzman (The Sounds, The Killers, The Black Keys) and are currently managed by Gina Brucato of Henson Studios.
