Since the age of 8, Chace Morris (a.k.a. Mic Write) has displayed exemplary skill in the art of writing. Whether it was writing and organizing presentations for his church or creative writing courses in school, there has always been a sense of grand originality and superlative imagination involved in his work. By the age of 14, influenced by acts such as 112, Prince, and Babyface, Chace began to express interest in songwriting, particularly in the genre of R&B. He began constructing original songs using his unique writing ability and the melodies he would create on the piano. It was at this point in life that he realized music was his passion. It wasn't until his first year in college, 18 years matured in the journey of Life, that RHYMES became his obsession. Hip-Hop had always been around him, in the background, influencing his progression like the bass in a song; but it took hearing "The Eminem Show" to ignite that ember that had always smoldered inside. Now, it would be rare to find this young, upstart emcee without his IPod, a pair of headphones, and a notebook, as he writes the lyrics and poetry that stirs within his soul, comes together in his mind, and translates through the penstroke:
