DISTIMIA has recently put out an old song in the Xth Useless Poorductions Anniversary AKA XUPA compilation... it's a cover version of the almighty pimba artist QUIM BARREIROS. The other new track here on myspace is a complete new track from colaboration with 5th RAIDER that is being prepared for late 2007 UP release... DISTIMIA is the portuguese word for Dysthymia, a type of depression involving long- term, chronic symptoms that do not disable you, but keep you from functioning at full steam or from feeling good.
DISTIMIA is a less severe type of depression than what is considered a major depression. However, people with dysthymia may also sometimes experience major depressive episodes.
DISTIMIA started as an industrial pseudark project mainly interested in warfare themes by the end of 2004. Then in the beginning of 2005 DISTIMIA released "amostra gratuita" CDR through USELESS POORDUCTIONS (UP) that have been already re-pressed with the addition of a live video of her debut gig at 25.05.2005 (50th anniversary of the end of the WWII). All copies come in a handmade old card layout in the typical very DIY UP style.
