if you're reading this for the sole reason that i added you and you don't know me... it's because something on your profile intrigued me *BESIDES* your picture... my friends list is NOT a popularity contest or a place for me to find the most scantily clad, "hot", etc people just so i can feel good about my .. presence... the people on my list are my real friends, or people i share common interests with and enjoy talking to... chances are i think you might be one of those... i go through the list regularly and remove those that aren't included in that... if i intrigue you, let me know :) ... and before you ask... yes, i really do talk to most all the people on my list and have met most of them as well... my friends list is just that... a friends list
Random Ramblings...
I'm the guy you don't think exists... I'm the gayest straight guy you'll meet... People generally label me a "metrosexual"... the name doesn't bother me, I take it as a fashion compliment... I miss my last car, as I put a lot of time, effort, and emotion into making it what it was... I'm pretty much a computer geek.. if it can be done i can either do it or can figure out how... i'm kind of a brand whore pretty much across the board (clothes, electronics, personal care products, etc)... i just feel that many things are worth paying a little extra for a little extra quality... i'm addicted to instant messenger... i've got yahoo, aol, msn, and myspace... i really need to sort through my 6000+ mp3s and figure out which ones i should keep and which ones i wonder how i got in the first place... i know most of the IM smilie codes without clicking the actual smilie... i love math even though i don't really have a job that uses it... i'm a very logical person... i think in "IF-THEN" statements... most of my shirts have stripes, both polo & button-ups... i've been on the internet for about 16 or 17 years now (seriously)... back before internet explorer, AOL, ebay, etc... i own a handful of domain names but don't really do anything with them... i prefer my chocolate milk pre-made in the gallon... i like coke not pepsi... there is no period after the "dr" in dr pepper... ever know that? i type 100+ wpm, yes i have magic fingers... i have 13 trophies from the last 6 months of owning my last car from car shows... i'm on my 7th digital camera, but not because they break, just that i upgrade... i'm anal about grammar & spelling, yet type in this similar abstract, not-quite-a-sentence, no capital letters style... i haven't been to the library in over 10 years... i have no tickets on my record.. never have... i've never been to jail... i miss my old truck but i may actually get it back soon... my sister is the most important person in my entire life... the most amazing day of my entire life (yes i sat and tried to see if i could find anything better) was the day she got married... i think it's sad that words like "war widow" and "friendly fire" and "innocent victim" even exist... sometimes i get in a mood to buy something .. from ebay or amazon or something even though there's nothing in particular i need to buy... the best part about a good cry is the part right before the tears, where the outside of your eyes feel like they're burning... 2005 was my first valentine's day with someone and als the first time someone got me flowers for any reason... my favorite color combination is blue/silver/black... people compare me to chandler from friends sometimes.... and they say i look like ben stiller or jason biggs... my current car is almost as old as a highschool freshman, yet i love it.... did you really read this far? ... i am one of the people you hate because i have difficulty gaining weight... i used to work with one of the guys in neverset... i really hate clubs... more of a bar/pub/hole-in-the-wall type of guy... tucker max's book is the only book that has made me literally laugh out loud while reading... i have taken over 6000 pictures with my digital camera in the last 2 years alone... i professionally detail cars for fun and some extra cash... i would go to church more often, but i really don't like going alone... i really miss my parents and sister living close to me.. i'm usually very generous and let people in while in traffic but hate when they don't give the "traffic wave"... i'm really good with faces, but HORRIBLE with names... i usually have to create some sort of an association to remember it... i've been known to change my outfits time and time again before going out... my longest relationship is actually pretty short... less than a year... i can find many different 'types' of women very attractive... it's usually the inside that turns me off/away... i have learned how to have lucid dreams and it's an amazing experience that i definitely recommend... i'll do anything for a joke, even be the butt of it... i love power naps... i have an amazingly precise photographic memory... the watch i wear was purchased twice because i lost the first one at the lake only a week after buying it but had wanted this particular one for so long that i repurchased the same one... i specifically remember someone telling me i had a "stellar personality" and thought it was the best compliment i had ever received... still do... i think any song that can be played well both acoustic and electric can most likely automatically be classified as a good song... sometimes i wonder what it's like to KNOW that someone has a crush on you... i have a "2 drink minimum" when meeting new people generally... give me 2 drinks time before you judge me so i can become less nervous around you... i'm one of those types of people that you either love or hate... but even if you hate me, you end up loving me later... i don't generally eat veggies... i was very close to being an eagle scout... i shave my arms and chest... i prefer meeting people .. vs meeting people at a bar/club/etc... i feel you get to know them better first before you "waste your time"... i'm almost TOO much like my dad... my first pager was bright traffic cone orange... i hate people who get made into celebrities that are just useless (i.e. paris hilton)... boyshorts are FAR sexier than thongs... the most important feature on a woman's body is her face... my radar detector has saved me more times than i can count and paid for itself in weeks... i love tubing the guadalupe... i would go every weekend during the summer if i have enough people that wanted to go with each time... my biggest fear is ending up alone and/or not finding true love... i really want to fall in love w/ someone but it's important to me to find the right one.. i love eating sunflower seeds but only if i get to suck the salt out of the shells, crack em, and spit out the shells... i don't have a degree but i am anxious to go back and finish.. it's just tough at this point in my level of career-dom... i used to hate those bluetooth phone earpieces but it really does make it a lot nicer (but i never wear it just out to look cool and important)... i probably have more pairs of shoes than you (unless you are my sister)... i recently started painting and love it... it's fun, therapeutic, and very fulfilling to finish a piece... i can see specific events in my life in almost any song... i can generally place a song's popularity date to the year by associating those events... i want to have a typical catholic wedding when i get married... i have allergies in the fall, but i took claritin for so long that it doesn't work... oddly enough the generic brand of allergy medicine from walmart does... i have a movie collection that rivals your local video store... and i've probably seen them all at least twice... i have an xbox360 and a handful of games, yet i tend to play the oldschool classic games on it more often for some reason... i'm spoiled by HDTV and rarely watch anything not broadcast in HD... i love gadgets... i really would like to go to more museums... specifically the museum of science & industry in chicago... i've traveled a few places in the last few years that i've never been to and each one has been a memorable (in some way) experience... i have never been to mexico.. not over the border nor the tourist beaches... but i'd like to... i really enjoy roadtrips, especially with someone who is willing to be a goof and sing the entire way... i don't generally smile with teeth in pictures... it's not as much that i have braces, but more that i have noticed that no male in our family does... i think everyone should own a waterpik... i think little things like waterbottle-compatible icecube trays and curved shower curtain rods are some of the coolest ideas ever... i think random and odd things at random and odd times... i'm kinda of a neat freak but i do get messy at times, but when it does, it's time for an all out cleaning fest... i enjoy traveling though i haven't been to all that many places, and never out of the country... i don't have a whole lot of favorite anythings because usually if there's something i like, there's other similar things i like as well... i've become very habitual about turning off lights... i eat each thing in order on my plate... i don't usually skip around and come back to something else once i've stopped it... i will do a single item in a load of laundry just to make sure everything is clean on laundry day... sometimes i even wear a robe or my swimsuit while washing to make sure it's ALL clean... my checkbook is ALWAYS balanced...
