http://www.myheritage.com Without a doubt, today you will hear many sad statistics: that nearly half of all women in the world have been victims of domestic violence, or that that thousands of women and children worldwide are hurt and killed by their husbands, fathers and brothers. These numbers are so overwhelming that it is tempting to forget them. Don’t let that happen. If you feel like saying, “It’s a big problem, and I’m only one person,” I want you to do one thing: think about this faces and remember! Domestic violence takes many forms. It can be as simple and obvious as a fist to the face, or as subtle as the deep perception that women are of less value than men. It can show up as a bruise or a broken limb, or as deep emotional scarring that cripples women and their children. I am here to condemn it in the strongest possible terms. Some may ask why I am speaking out in such a personal manner.I`m a Domestic Vialence Survivor. Domestic violence, or “wife-battering,” as it used to be called, is a taboo subject. Fighting such violence can be especially taboo in traditional societies. The family structure is extremely strong. Many people think that domestic violence is a private family issue and should not be discussed in public. But silence is the batterer’s best friend. Silence allows domestic violence to continue generation after generation. It keeps women from asking for help; it makes women so ashamed of what is happening to them that they believe they are at fault. Silence keeps women helpless. To find the domestic violence program nearest you, call the National Domestic Violence Hotline: (800) 799-SAFE (799-7233) To get help and information about sexual assault call the National Sexual Assault Hotline at 1.800.656.HOPE or visit www.rainn.org.Get Your Own! | View Slideshow

On the other hand the following people have created a negative impact in my life, although it was not directly towards me it still affected me. I don't hate anyone. Hate is a strong feeling. I don't believe any living being on the face of this earth deserves that amount of energy from me.
