When he was just 15, Sven Kirchhof alias DJ RIDDLER was very fascinated by Techno and Trance music.
During the early nineties, when Acts like SNAP and CULTURE BEAT had their biggest successes, Sven was impressed by this sound and especially by the Sound Of Frankfurt. The weekly radio show Clubnight on HR3 was his favourite show and he listened always to the great Clubnight-Sets of SVEN VÄTH and DJ DAG. Sven recognized that this music must be his future. And his wish should become reality: Gigs all over germany, rocking the clubs, fascinating the party crowed.
Meanwhile he worked very hard on his career and gigs in a lot of Techno/Trance Clubs, on big Events like FUTURE PARADE, etc. became his job. His special music style is a mixture of groovy beats and trance sounds. The way he realizes the special mixture of Trance, Progressive and Tech-House makes every Gig very unique.
1995, he decided to work togehter with MIKE DAVIES, because his dream was not only being a DJ, but also producing his own tracks. Influenced by the different styles he uses in his DJ-Sets, he started with Mike creating their own tracks. Just one year later, TALLA 2XLC was impressed of their great productions and he released on his Label MUSIC RESEARCH the first track of DJ RIDDLER and MIKE DAVIES Reference II. 1998 they started working togehter with A.S.Y.S. (Frank Ellrich). Afer a few production sessions the 3 guys created the Project CYBERSTORM and their first single Our Energy became a great success in the club scene. Also the follow up single reached high positions because of the massive Airplay of Paul van Dyk, Ulli Brenner, DJ Dag, Talla 2XLC and Tillmann Uhrmacher. 1999 Dj Riddler became part of the project RIDDLER & HEADCRUSHER. Tracks like Windschatten and Plasma-Fire were released on the Label Media Records and Europes Top-Djs like MARCO V and TOM WAX used these tracks in their DJ Sets. In the same year they became friends of Christian Weber. Together with him they realized the project O.S.I.R.I.S., which should be a way for them to work also on UK and Benelux Trance.
2002 DJ Riddler und Mike Davies founded togehter with Talec (Dark-Noize) their own label DARK-NOIZE-RECORDINGS.
From this day on, DJ Riddler worked days and nights in their own studio, to find the special sounds and he became a real sound engineer. His Clavia Nord Modular and JP8000 helped him and every production of Dark-Noize-Recordings has the unique sound of DJ Riddler.
With the productions of RIDDLER & HEADCRUSHER, CYBERSTORM, O.S.I.R.I.S., HORRORSCOPE and the Comeback of DARK NOIZE in 2004, the just 24 years old DJ RIDDLER is a well know artist and his tracks are used from the famoust DJ´s all over the world.
