Talesha B, the talented, motivated, and beautiful model of MTV's "8th & Ocean" fame is ready to show the world that she is not just another girl from the South. This southern belle grew up performing in the Baptist Church in her hometown of St.Petersburg, Fla. Talesha displayed undeniable vocal talent giving her time in the spotlight and strengthening her confidence for the entertainment world.Fueled be her unwavering drive for stardom, Talesha began entering and winning beauty pageants and model searches. At the age of 13, Talesha entered the "Manhattan Model Search" in which she was offered contracts from several top modeling agencies including Ford, Next, and Elite. Talesha opted to sign with Elite.While her career blossomed, Talesha was spotted by Irene Marie Management Group in Miami, Fl. Irene Marie was impressed not only with Talesha's photgraphs but with her level of professionalism and dedication to both the modeling and music industry.Talesha then moved to New York City, where she shot for campaigns for Tommy Jeans and Union Bay in the same year. She graced magazines such as Marie Claire, Essence, Vibe, etc. and also walked the runway for Richard Tyler, St. Johns, Rock & Republic and Baby Phat.Since Talesha has established herself in the modeling industry, she began pursuing her childhood passion, music. Landing a deal thru hit producers The Berman Brothers, She began recording in the girl group " Heaven Sent".Soon after " Heaven Sent" was signed by Motown/Universal Records, and released two hit singles in Europe, that still play today. While touring Europe the group performed at the annual Dome Concert for over 30,000 fans, performed on MTV germany, and was Germany's teen magazines Bravo artist of the month.After touring, Talesha decided to move back to the states in 2004 to continue working with her modeling agencies and to pursue her music in the direction that she felt reflects who she truely is. While working hard, MTV offered her the opportunity to be a cast member on the debut season of the hit show 8th & Ocean. Which turned out to be a great success.Now she's working hard at perfecting her craft. She's been working on her album with songs from the grammy award winning producers Dre and Vidal and Jason"PoohBear"Boyd, and many more.
