About Me

I edited my profile with Thomas Myspace Editor V4.4 (www.strikefile.com/myspace)-------------------------------- ------------------------------------------------------------ -------------------------------------

In her 20s she began Sanctuary Tape Series, Gypsy Literary Magazine and Vergin Press. Each survived about 10 years. Belinda is very active now with producing Gypsy Art Show. You can hear the shows directly from the podcast page at BELINDA SUBRAMAN PRESENTS. Belinda and K.C. have been collaborating off and on since the mid 1980s. ------------------------------------------------------------ ---------------------
K.C. (Ken Clinger) has been indulging in music ever since his mother bribed him to straighten his room at age 3, with a new kiddie record each time it was nice and tidy. In 2nd grade he got his first portable tape recorder, and in 3rd grade began piano lessons with Mr. Niles. Discovering the Beatles increased the level of musical indulgence, and K.C. went on to attempt to learn guitar, study music composition and theory, until he discovered multitrack recording and everything fell into place in the early 1980s. He began recording cassette albums, and trading them with other home musicians, and becoming involved in various compilation projects. One of which resulted in making contact with Belinda. Almost the entire history of individual Belinda & KC recordings can be found at Belinda and K.C.'s Soundclick ... while their "Late Night in the Psych Ward" can be found at Late Night in the Psych Ward Various KC solo and collab recordings can be found at K.C. and Friends ... His alter-ego Sallymae Hogsby has "The Bovine Music Show" podcast at Sallymae Hogsby .

Sounds Like: Belinda and K.C. and nobody else on earth!------------------------------------------BUDDHIST QUOTES AND SAYINGS:Just as the highest and the lowest notes are equally inaudible, so perhaps, is the greatest sense and the greatest nonsense equally unintelligible. ---------------------------Renunciation is not getting rid of the things of this world, but accepting that they pass away. -------------------------The greatest achievement is selflessness. The greatest worth is self-mastery. The greatest quality is seeking to serve others. The greatest precept is continual awareness. The greatest medicine is the emptiness of everything. The greatest action is not conforming with the worlds ways. The greatest magic is transmuting the passions. The greatest generosity is non-attachment. The greatest goodness is a peaceful mind. The greatest patience is humility. The greatest effort is not concerned with results. The greatest meditation is a mind that lets go. The greatest wisdom is seeing through appearances. --------------------Mindfulness is the aware, balanced acceptance of the present experience. It isn't more complicated that that. It is opening to or receiving the present moment, pleasant or unpleasant, just as it is, without either clinging to it or rejecting it. -------------------------- Do not speak- unless it improves on silence.------------------------You can explore the universe looking for somebody who is more deserving of your love and affection than you are yourself, and you will not find that person anywhere
