It all started at Ã…kerö high school, where a bunch of teenager ate lunch, probably some nasty soup, in the schools dining room. They sat and talked and talked, then suddenly, one of them says: "Why haven’t we started a band yet?". A few days later, the group started rehearsing, but after a week there where only three dudes left, Lunkan, Riis och Jensa. And some time after that, Lunkan gave up playing too. Left was Jensa and Riis, who didn’t think of very much else than playing, ’cause it was so damn fun!
Together with Svante and Olle, the band performed a gig, under the name The Stormtroopers. After that, Svante and Olle left the band, and it was a duo again. Many bassplayers joined in, and left the band, it started to look hopeless. Hanna was their bassplayer for a while, wrote some songs, and changed the bands name to Superbia, from one of the seven deadly sins. But Hanna felt that she did not want to play punkmusic...
Riis and Jensa choosed the easy way: pick one of their buddies and teach him/her how to play the bassguitar. Johan Kluck was picked first, and well, he learned pretty quick, and the band line-up was complete.
A few demos released, several shows played and lots of pranks done, Superbia is still alive, and will always be around!
