About Me
I'm 24, living on my own with two really great roomates and most days, I love my job. My friends are great- I've kept in touch with ones from high school and home and made new ones in college and now at work- I've been lucky to find a some really fabulous ones. Family is really important to me- I love going home to spend time with my extended family and see all my little cousins. I'm sane for the most part, fun to be around, intelligent, attractive, admittedly slightly sarcastic and love to try new things. I lived in DC for a bit, so coming back to Connecticut after living in a place like that was a little difficult, but I've actually found some pretty good places around here. I love New Haven, and I'm trying to love Hartford- I wish there were more fun places to eat/hang out in. Know of any I should try? I love trying new food, but I will not ever, ever eat seafood. Silly, I know, especially since I grew up blocks from the water, but it just doesn't do anything for me. Thai, Italian, Mexican, Indian, good pizza and beer definitely do. I know how to cook a few things, and I'd love to learn more, but I'm no chef. Points to guys who can cook and will show me how! I'm not high maintenance, snotty or stuck up. I am ambitious and unsure of exactly what I want to do at the same time. I'm also pretty happy in general right now and would love to share that with someone. I'm really politically-minded and opinionated and I'd love it if you were, too. I'm tall, so tall guys are great because heels are really fun sometimes :)
