Sam "Samtastic" Smart. One Half of the Production & Song-Writing Team known as "Soun'wave" and half superhero. Born and Bred in West & North West London and equipped with a mission that extends beyond fame and fortune, rather working towards a goal of connecting with people around the world. I don't allow myself to be restricted by the Genre box, but I like to consider my music as Modern R&b and Pop. I left school with Over 9 GCSE's and working my way towards a Level 3 National Diploma in "Music Technology", Studying At City Of Westminster College. I have set goals in my life which I hope to achieve, so everyone I do works towards them.
I have worked with varying amounts of people within the UK industry, but I am yet to break through into mainstream, prefferring to hammer on its outer shell.
Various amounts of songs I've produced, engineered and/or written have been played on commercial Radio sations such as Kiss100, BBC 1Xtra, Choice FM etc. Notable Productions include Tayong's "Missing You Remix" and Scru-FizZer's "Where You Are" with the former being performed and played in Nationwide Nightclubs such as Oceana And Liquid, with the latter being played on Kiss 100 in the recent months.
I find being random is the best way to break the ice with new people, it also opens your eyes to the world and adds a new dimension of thinking. I try to apply that to the music I create, always attempting to create interesting concepts and compostions with a twist on them, Like biting into some chicken, and finding strawberries inside (but much nicer.. Who likes chicken anyway.. YUCK!). I'm always interested in meeting and working with new people. Whether you sing, songwrite, compose, play or just listen, i'd always like to hear from you. The music industry is all about networking and being able to approach the artists who don't feel the need to become arrogant.
I'm flattered with the people that copy me, I find that setting trends and then leaving it is the mark of a true pioneer.

My songwriting passion comes from Ne-Yo, who in my opinion, is one of the only real entertainers out there. Listening to some of the stuff he's written, I find that its easy to sing along to, but the underlying layer is very deep, and makes it good to connect to, allow it to compensate for your emotions. So i tend to write my songs on personal experiences that I have been through, which are suprisngly alot being at the young Age of 17.
I own a home studio with a vast array of equipment, which is where I like to create my songs as such. I'm always up for some work, sometimes it can be a bit delayed, but if you're serious interested then just let me know.
