About Me

Click here to get this skin for your profile! Wow, is it ever time that I finally update my MySpace page, eh? For those who don't know me, I seem like the quiet, shy type--probably because I am. I'm not so shy anymore, but I'm just a very quiet, kind-hearted, kindred soul who likes to test the waters before jumping in...into anything, these days. Although I'm 28, I'm still wise well beyond my years. I've seen a lot, done even more, and experienced even more than that. Once you crack the surface, though, and get to know me, you'll see that I love to share my experiences, and love to teach, and listen. Each one, teach one!Now for the typical stuff.... I can't get enough of talking about cars--especially the fast, Japanese ones. I also can't get enough of talking about Pit Bulls (real dogs), drum and bass music, the political situation, the world situation, and about anything intellectual. Music is my life, when all else has disappeared (as Tom says, "Music is the Answer.").As you can see from my pics, I've been to Iraq (Baghdad, to be exact). While I wasn't "on the front lines," for those who haven't been, the entire region is a MASSIVE front line--nobody is safe, in or out of the neighborhoods you see on TV. A mortar or rocket doesn't descriminate, and neither does a car bomb. I went as part of the Air Force, but served proudly with our Army, Navy, Marine, and Coalition Brethren, not to mention the proud Iraqis who risk their life, limb, and family to be a part of something better than they came from. Rome wasn't built in a day, and almost everything worth having comes with at least SOME pain and sacrifice.

My Interests

Relaxing, drum & bass massives, Hip-hop, import cars, driving extremely hard on winding roads, laughing a LOT, and...relaxing.

I'd like to meet:

Beautiful people. This Profile Was Created Using The Lethal Design MySpace Editor

Music:

Pretty much all jungle, old school east coast hip-hop, anything by Aesop Rock, 311, ska, punk, reggae, dub, older house tracks, late 90's trance...all kinds of stuff, really. If it has a beat, and moves me, chances are, I like it. "If you can talk, you can sing. If you can walk, you can dance."

Movies:

Good Will Hunting is my all time favorite. Human Traffic, Rainman, The Last Samurai, Faster, Training Day, Infernal Affairs (all volumes), Fulltime Killer (thanks, Gene!), Underworld, Pulp Fiction, Jarhead (GET SOME!!!), and...Dave Chapelle ROCKS!

Television:

Over There, Animal Planet, the Military Channel, the History Channel, and pretty much anything on Comedy Central.

Books:

Books, and the knowledge they contain, are what make me tick. Turn your T.V. off, and pick up a book. The revolution is now, and no--it won't be televised. Each one teach one!

Heroes:

--All of my friends and fellow servicemen/women slogging through the sand, overseas, fighting for the US. I've lost 4 friends to my knowledge, and probably a handful more I haven't heard about. Chris Hill, John House, Derek Argel, Jeremy Fresques, and 1Lt Abel Rojero, you will never be forgotten.--All of my classmates from the pilot training class I managed to wash out of. It wasn't for my lack of trying, 03-10.--Tom Bierly, and Brian Nicosia, 'nuff said--w/o them, I wouldn't have met the family I now am part of.--My parents, and my family, extended included...my ancestors for my wonderful genes.--The Japanese, for giving me the joy of Honda, Subaru, and my audio technology.--My best friends--you know who you are.--The Filipinos who took stock in partly raising me for the past 17 years (The Adamos Clan, the Collazos, among others)--All of Ireland
