It started with a mix tape by my mates older brother in '93/94. I became obsessed with it and started buying the records that made it up...I was skint, after all I was only 12 at the time and had to wash cars to pay for them!
After hearing Dave Clarke and Justin Robertson on the essential mix the following year I decided to stop buying records in order to save up for some 1210's.
At 17 I finally started to dj outside of my bedroom, and along with friends started to put parties on, first around my home town and then to Manchester when I started uni.
As well as djing independantly, I often dj with Deek (Who made the tape that started my downward spiral in finances) as the other half of Local Zeros. We have played Various gigs all over the country including clubs like Sankeys Soap in Manchester, and recently at the Rocket festival in Spain, though Deek ended up doin that alone as I broke my wrist just before the gig!
