Photography, art, horse riding, and all sports really, dancing, soccer, scrap-booking, ten pin bowling, cars, music, some poetry, labradors, the kids attending the special school I work/volunteer at, cooking, hands-on things, fishing, morning laps at the local pool.
I LIKE hugs, massages, the beach, bass, someone playing with my hair, snow falling on my face, the smell of rain, strawberries dipped in Nutella, roadtrips, pink, hugs, laughing for no reason, swinging on swings, chocolate, hugs, haircuts, bakeries, the smell of fresh basil, dancing to live music, pink gerberas, hugs, long distance phonecalls, painting, wrapping christmas presents, Green Tea products - as in Elizabeth Arden Green Tea perfume, Audrey Hepburn, wise old men (like my Daddy), 'deep and meaningfuls', the seasons, gardens, did I mention hugs?, the smell of a BBQ cooking, home-made pizzas, frangipanis, and dreams.
I DON'T LIKE needles (no tatoos and only my ears are pierced), drugs, eyedrops, being sworn at, dishonest crude or rude people, being defined because I have religious beliefs, when people won't say sorry, cheaters, scary drunk men, having chronic fatigue, eggplant, that everyone texts and noone phones anymore. I'm not a big fan of Coke..
I'd like to meet:
Who we are emerges from where we've been and those we've met.. I don't mind meeting anyone, but that doesn't make you a true friend.
I treasure all my friendships, everyone has something unique to offer. I believe in second chances but only to a point. Don't lie to me! I would rather have 3 real friends than 15 acquaintances, so if you don't treat me like a real friend, don't expect to be one. You can call me nicknames, my personality stays the same - people shouldn't change to try and be what someone else wants. They say you always find out who your real friends are: so I guess we'll find out soon enough!
