The Vinyl Assassins started off as two friends just interested in the same styles of music. Which led to them having a joke with a friend of there's about playing at the lounge bar he was running. Now over 3 years later they have played in clubs all over the Gold Coast with there own style of djing they like to call an "Electro Circus". This has all led them to another interesting twist of fate with a promoter seeing one of there gigs and signing them up for there very first festival all the way in Switzerland.'Shake and Dance' is a cocktail/dance party in Solothurn and has been running since 2002. The Vinyl Assassins were the first Australians to grace the event with there djing skills. They headlined the act in a versus format against dj Castle and Switzerland's no. 2 dj Christopher S.The boys can currently be found playing there electro circus at the FirstKiss parties. FirstKiss has been pushing local acts like the Vinyls for the last six months and is proud to call them residents. With this in mind they have just taken on a manager who is booking them for acts in Sydney and Melbourne and now the boys are tearin up the scene.....
