Update the Next: Now I'm in Sacramento working for the Dep't of Health Care Services doing Medi-Cal stuff. Fuggit...anything's better'n LA...of course, I may be transferring back to ARB really soon...they want me back and may create a position for me in Sacto...nice...! Other than that...jamming the instrumental drone 'post metal' shiznit (whatever the fudge that actually means...) w/ a coupla locals up here...interesting...but w/ some technical stuff thrown in for fun....it'll be fun to play out again...ain't done it since San Diego...
Update - I passed both Oregon and California and am now a member of the bar in both states - imagine that...holy crap...still a drone w/ the Air Resources Board, but now one actually making some form of difference; i.e., a friggin' attorney!!!!!
Dammit - I thought I had this saved the last time I did this. Anyhow, I'm an almost lawyer living in Pasadena, working for the state of Kalifornia as a chemist while I wait for my moral character determination. Yeah, lawyers are supposed to be 'morally upright'... What a crock of crap. I'm a big fan of pit bulls - I've got two of them - the Alien and the Head. What else...hmmmm.....well, I'm studying right now for the Oregon Bar and hoping to pass this time. Amazing - I passed the hardest bar in the country - Kalifornia - and failed an easy one - Oregon - b/c my stupid computer crashed. What a friggin' bitch. Ah well.Other thoughts - well, I'm a crazy mix, in that I love working on vehicles - I'm a total wrench/greasemonkey (you should see my sink...), yet I'm also an environmentalist and veg who wants to see the destruction of our petroleum-based economy and the implementation of different, environmentally-friendly alternative fuel sources. One day, everyone'll see my dream come to fruition - an old sedan rat rod running either a hybrid engine or a diesel engine....
