I was born in Bartlesville Oklahoma but grew up in Rocky Comfort MO and Miami OK. I lived in Okinawa Japan for about 5 years and the last 10 have been in New Mexico.
The military took me to many exciting places (and some real shit holes) around the world. I did 13 years in the Infantry as a TOW Gunner and a Mortarman. "Love them 81s". I retired from the Navy Reserve in 2002 with 22 years total service. I had a great time as a Navy Master At Arms (Navy Police) and picked up the NEC2002 Investigator and 0812, Small Arms Instructor, along the way. Changing branches in mid-career had it's drawbacks though. I found it hard to make rank in the Navy with only a few years in and ended up retiring as a First Class
I was a civilian cop for many years but have now found my niche in computers and information systems security.
I'm still a country boy at heart but have come to appreciate the convenience of living in the city. I'll eventually move back to the Ozarks though. My family and friends live there and I'll always call it home.
