About Me

I am 33 and I'm married to my best friend Aaron. We have two wonderful children Sydnie(5) and Cameron(3). They are my everything and they know it. We are currently living North of Atlanta, Georgia where Aaron has easy access to his job in Roswell. We just moved into a new house that we had built for us. We've been married for 12 years. We lived in my home town of Gainesville, Fl for 4 years while we finished college then we moved up to Woodstock, GA for 2 years while Aaron worked as a computer consultant and I taught Elementary school. Then, we moved back home to G-ville for another 4 years and had 2 kids. Last September we packed up and came back to the Atlanta, GA area where there are better job opportunities and my oldest sister and her family lives nearby.

My Interests

I enjoy the outdoors, traveling, boating and watersports, snow skiing, rollerblading, hiking/camping, hanging out with the kids and fam, reading, and scrapbooking. If I still had a horse or one nearby, I would be riding whenever I had a chance, but...I guess I'll have to wait till the kids are a little older.Get Your Own! | View Slideshow

Music:

Some of my favorite groups/singers are Nickel Creek, Cold Play, Allison Kraus, Dixie Chicks, John Mayer, Jewel, Green Day, Kenney Chesney, and Jenny Phillips(Christian). Some of my favorite songs aside from the above artist are: You and Me - Life house, The World I know - Collective Soul, Hear You Me - Jimmy Eats World, I could not Ask for More and Born to Fly - Sara Evans, and Angel - Sarah Mclachlan.

Movies:

As you will see, I don't like horror or scarey movies. I love comedies, drama, and kids movies. I can't really remember them all but some of them are: The Power of One (If you haven't seen it, rent it), Shrek, Austin Powers, Pretty in Pink, Tommy Boy, Titanic, Armageddon, Lost Boys, E.T., Braveheart, The Lion King, Goonies, The Bourne Identity, Forrest Gump, Toy Story, Ice Age, Finding Nemo, Spider Man, Beauty and The Beast, Top Gun, Moulin Rouge, Kate and Leopold, Fly Away Home, Elf, The Abyss, Dumb & Dumber, Big, Legends of the Fall, and Dances with Wolves.

Television:

When I get time to watch TV (Thank God for TIVO) I love watching: Desperate Housewives, Lost, Alias, Smallville, American Idol, Friends, That 70's show, Star Trek, Various Documentaries, The History or Discovery Channel, and HGTV.

Books:

I love Nicholas Sparks and Nicholas Evans Novels. I also like the authors David Baldacci and Anita Shrieve. I could list most of Nicholas Evans books as my favs. Some other favorites are: Wish You Well by David Baldacci, Lovely Bones by Alice Seabold, Cold Mountain by Frazier, The Poisonwood Bible by Barbara Kingsolver, and The Loop by Evans. I also enjoy some parenting books and magazines. My absolute favorite books now are: Twilight, New Moon, and Eclipse, by Stephanie Meyer! This story is awesome and you will not want to put the books down. Edward is my man (well...vampire) - I miss him! :)

Heroes:

Martin Luther King Jr., FDR, Benjamin Franklin (all hale electricity), Superman - Christopher Reeves, Joseph Smith Jr., and Gordon B Hinkley. All the enlisted men and women.My husband. My Dad. And Geoff Larson was a true friend who changed my life forever; He will always be a hero to me.
