A little about me...Well, there is a lot about me. Over the last few weeks I have learned so much about me that I have taken for granted so so long...To begin-- I am a person, wife, mother,daughter, aunt, sister, granddaughter, nurse, and friend....I love my family-My daughter is the eternal change of me since day one. She makes me smile when I'm angry, makes me laugh when I'm sad, and gives me the opportunity to do things the right way when I probably never have before. She provides the drive to go further and further in life, and without her--all I can say is who knows...I am very independent, but have realized that independence revolves around a situation. You are independent if you want to be--things like this can change...Given in when it feels right...Romantic movies are a favorite with a blanket on the couch--but I'm learning to give in to other things...Poetry can be a blessing at times--puts you into reality... I like the sweetest things in life--love and friendships matter the most. I believe it is wonderful to know that someone is smiling on the inside when you are having a conversation or loving you a million miles away...I believe it is o.k. to cry--showing emotions is not the end of the world...I love to read! US weekly is my favorite, but exploring other subjects besides star gossip is good too...Dressing up makes me feel good, but a jeans and t-shirt day is worth waiting for...I use to be against hats, but now---a hat can cover it all...Hats cover bad hair days to emotions worth hiding...Italian food is my favorite, although I love sushi!!! What a combo, right? Shopping is my favorite thing to do, but am learning that buying things doesn't always fix the problem...and if its worth having then it will be there when the time is right...Quiet days are welcomed...It's nice just to relax every now and then. Waking up and knowing your day can be just how you want it to be is a blessing...Priceless means it was something you shouldn't go another day without... I prefer silver over gold, but its just a preference--not a "have to" scenario...Confidence is beauty...Knowing and respecting yourself goes a long way...The word beautiful now has a new meaning, especially when heard with love..I have learned that laughter is the best medicine...It makes you feel better when there is no "positive" to the day and no end to a tragic moment. I work better under pressure and live for intense moments...Excitement is the best way to form a memory...Music makes me think..I love all types--from heavy metal to classical...Grocery shopping use to suck, but now I use it my advantage... I don't cook very well, but I'm willing to try... Daisies are my favorite type of flower--simple but extravagant. Rainy days work--sleeping late works too... White wines over red, and now they must be chilled..Chocolate over vanilla...The dark bothers me--just a little scary. Deep conversations explain lots of things, don't always be the talker...Listening is the key to resolution... Conflict upsets my tummy along with unnecessary drama--be who you are and don't hide from the truth. Admitting my faults and saying "I'm sorry" is o.k. Organization is now a priority...My calender is my life... I love my job...Being a nurse has taught me so much...It has taught me that only special people are qualified for the position and in the end they will know it. Nothing replaces the feeling of " I saved a life" at the end of the day. The love and trust you have for other nurses makes a statement in your life. Love your job--always be happy with what you do....Do it and do it good! Trust is essential...Learn to trust those worth trusting...But be very careful with your heart... Friends are very important...You know in your heart when you have found the best ones because you love them unconditionally and give equally. Finding friends that you just "click" with matters. Knowing you can laugh and cry all in the same conversation takes a breath away. Learn to love like never before. Love is a powerful thing...it can take you anywhere...Love changes all, and if you want to change things---put that into perspective. A way to love anything is to realize it might be lost...Love is a state of mind that reminds you nothing else matters. True love is missing someone before they leave or realizing that spaces between ones fingers are meant to hold a hand. Love is one of the hardest things to say and one of the easiest words to hear--so make sure you are using your energy to the right focus...and in the end, it will all become clear. Hearing your beautiful from the most amazing guy matters instead of being called hot. Treasure the one who calls you back after hanging up...Live for the dreaming of lying under the stars with the one who will watch you sleep...Say thank you for all of the things that go unappreciated. Enjoy sitting side by side and discussing the future--even if its ten years from now...Realize that love is about falling and understanding its normal to not get back up...Sometimes the heart sees what is invisible to the eye...And in the end, gravity will never pull you down...Real love stories never have endings....Only the best is yet to come!..
