My name is Barb Morris, and I am 49, and live in Toledo.
I have 2 grown kids, and I live with my pets: A bird named "Sunny", and a dog named "Beans."
I am in recovery, working a program, and am in a pretty good place right now. Believe me, it has been a long and rocky road I took to get here, and along with addiction comes so much chaos, that I can appreciate the calmness and simplicity of my life now.
I am very happy to be clean and living life on life's terms without needing to be medicated. I have 4 years clean now and am very proud of that.
Some little personal things about myself are :
I love my family and my pets very much.I like down to earth honest people, and whether rich or poor, if they don't live by a decent code of honor and loyalty, then they don't have anyplace in my story.
I feel I am a good friend, and I love doing things with my friends.
Things I love are: Chillin at home,hittin the gym, amusement parks, a pocketfull of money, movies, music,clothes shopping, collecting purses and DVD's, walking Beans,and making friends.
Things I hate are: rude and disrespectful people,being broke,chaos and drama, being lied to, and any other unpleasantry.
My favorite color is pink, I love the smell of gasoline,
I love storms,I love reading. ( hey, if theres nothing else to read, I'll read the cereal box)And even though some days I feel I am "all that",theres a little voice in me that sometimes tells me "you aren't good enough".
But I am getting better at that.God has brought me through so much, that I know I have a greater purpose.
I am clean now,
And that in itself is a miracle.
