About Me

KNOCKEDUPBABYMAKER.COM...because making babies is fun.
I was born in Wisconsin, grew up in Texas, lived in L.A. for about six years, Germany for about a year and was in NYC for just over eight. Just ended up in Manila, Philippines for an expat assignment. Cos' o' work, I've pretty much been constantly on the road... mostly to Cincinnati while I was in New York (roughly weekly), but was also consistently in Toronto, Dallas, Los Angeles and San Juan (PR). I love trains.
I'm a bit of an advertising and marketing consultant and consumer communications strategist rolled into one. It's equal parts art and science and I love it.
Work is a pretty big focus for me. But I'm not necessarily one of those people who needs to keep strong divisions between "work life" and personal life. Everything I do should be a consistent representation of me, who I am and what I enjoy.
And now for some stupid .. tests I've taken...

What American accent do you have? Your Result: Philadelphia Your accent is as Philadelphian as a cheesesteak! If you're not from Philadelphia, then you're from someplace near there like south Jersey, Baltimore, or Wilmington. if you've ever journeyed to some far off place where people don't know that Philly has an accent, someone may have thought you talked a little weird even though they didn't have a clue what accent it was they heard.

Music:

I'm pretty mainstream musically. Listening to Sia right now. Going to a Carbon Leaf concert on Friday. Will wait to decide whether or not to add them afterwards.

Movies:

I bought "V for Vendetta" last night but we didn't watch it. Might go to the movies this weekend. Can't wait for "Borat."

Books:

The last great book I read was "The Witch of Cologne" by Tobsha Learner. I also like books by Umberto Eco but I haven't read one in a while. I've been reading business books recently. Finsihed "All My Friends Are Going To Be Strangers" by Larry McMurtry a while ago. Now reading "Middlesex," "The Long Tail" and "The Efficient Executive" all at once. The last one was purchased and recommended to me by my new boss.

Calgary is the coolest town nobody knows about

So first, I admit my number of friends (on MySpace is *mostly* what I mean), is somewhat underwhelming.  I'm just starting out here although I think I created this profile a while back.  Al...
