*From band leader, singer songwriter, to recording artist Karla Chisholm is quickly becoming one of the most in demand vocalists in the Baltimore/DC area. Since her arrival in 2007, Karla has been featured in the EXAMINER for her performance at the Baltimore International Festival, and appeared on three television stations: Fox 45, Channel 13 and Baltimore’s own Public Access Television. As a graduate of the esteemed University of North Texas College of Music, Karla's talents have landed her many wonderful performance opportunities. She has performed at The Montreux Jazz Festival, International Association of Jazz Educators Conference, along with many local festival appearances; namely the Baltimore International Festival, Federal Hill Jazz & Blues Fest, and Pigtown Fest.
*She has worked with musicians such as Gary Grainger (John Schofield), Greg Grainger (Whitney Houston, Acoustic Alchemy), Joel Holmes (Neena Freelon), Kevin Walker (Prince, Justin Timberlake), Scott Ambush (Spyrogyra), Damon Foreman (George Clinton, Patti Labelle), Mike Pope (Al Di Meola), Benji Porecki (Stevie Wonder, Chaka Khan), Tommy Crosby (Peaches and Herb), Jaared (Peter White), Blues Webb (Be Be and Ce Ce Winans), Clarence Spady, Miguel Andros Aubertin, Michael Raitzyk (Mel Torme).
