About Me

Having developed a very strong interest in music whilst at school, I decided to invest in a small recording set-up in 1986 - a Casio CZ1 synth and a Casio SZ1 4-track sequencer. With these, I composed music for a six-track demo entitled "The Dream - The Ambient Album". I began to write bits of music here and there and then strung them together to make complete songs. However, having soon realized that four tracks were a bit limited for what I wanted to achieve, I bought two Alesis MMT8 eight track sequencers. So I had 16 tracks to record onto.Around this time, I was in London visiting the London Music Show. A stall was selling the now defunct Demo Chart magazine, this featured news, tips, interviews with bands and a top 100 chart. I entered the chart several times. This opened up a lot of doors for me and I had a lot of offers to collaborate with other artists.Between 1988-1993, I took part in "Words To Be Heard", this was part of the Birmingham Youth Show, performing songs of my own and writing for other people. This had made me realise my potential and so I re-recorded "The Dream". the new version now consisted of eight pieces of music, finally, the CD version contains 10 tracks. My equipment by this time were two keyboards, a sampler, a couple of sequencers and a Carlsbro Colt 45K keyboard combo speaker. The equipment I have now is a far more powerful system than when I started. In 1995, I answered an advert in the local press asking for bands and musicians to appear on a showcase CD through which I met producer and keyboard player, Neil Price. With his help, I have produced several albums, written radio jingles plus music for plays, one of which toured New Zealand. I have also been interviewed by several newspapers, been published in two fanzines and a feature on Mixology, a CD based DJ magazine. The following year, I also set-up Dream Records, Stickman Records and Patch UK. We have a healthy database of clients reaching across the globe from Europe to the USA to Australia. Continuing with my success, my music has now been reviewed three times in Australia by Inspire, a website dedicated to creative people with disabilities, also another review has been in the press and an up and coming review in a music fanzine.Recording under my own name and "Stickman", my CD's include a 4-track soft rock EP entitled "Timeless", a nine track party album called "Party, Party, Party" and a single entitled "Balearic Sunset".2007 saw me signing a distribution deal with Ditto Music to have my CD, "Cyborg", distributed worldwide and is now available to buy on itunes, HMVdigital, Beatsdigital and Ditto's own shop. I am always working on new material, whilst my back catalogue is being used to great effect. My latest album - "Cyborg II" was released in June 20th 2008. . I am also working on some new tracks to be released on an album called "Electro Love", along with two more CD's which are going to be remastered.I am available for doing interviews, articles, publicity shoots etc.All of my music would also suit advertising campaigns, short films, video presentations, etc.
