Easy Street Players

The Easy Street Players got their start in the hot summer of 2005 when they unveiled two spectacular revivals of well-loved comic fare; Barefoot in the Park by Neil Simon and Steel Magnolias by Robert Harling. Both shows opened at the Athenaeum Theatre to roaring laughter, critical acclaim and enthusiastic audience support.Founded by Artistic Director EJ VanderVoort along with Mollie Dinstbier, Easy Street Players is the culmination of a life-long dream to start a theatre company that would bring the gift of theatre to a diverse community while at the same time creating, developing and sustaining strong relationships with the community and each other.
