About Me

I created my own profile using nUCLEArcENTURy.COM and you should too!Hello there! My name is not Captain Marvel, but Robert Vaughan and I have been playing the guitar and singing, much to the annoyance of my neighbours flatmates etc, etc ever since I can remember. I love playing everything about music from playing my own or other peoples songs.Ever since I can remember I have wanted to play in a band and also to be able to express myself creatively by playing original music and, thankfully, that is what I am doing at the moment. I should probably just quit it all and grow up but, damn it, I don't want to!I am a singer/guitarist in a band called The Paperchain Babies, you should check them out. The link is high up on my friends list below. But I have also been playing covers with some of my best friends, Richard Reeves and Simon Treadaway for years. We even played at the Millennium Dome once in 2001 with our old drummer Rob Owens and Paperchain babies bassist and singer, Sarah Jane Chapman.I am from Hounslow, a place where everyone seems to know everyone else who's playing in bands, you wouldn't think it but it's actually quite a friendly place. If you get the chance please come and see me play and hopefully you will love it as much as I love doing it!The songs on my page were all written and played by me and my friends. Some of the lyrics are quite personal but fuck it, isn't that what it's all about? Hope you like them.My other interests are speaking other languages watching mainstream and arthouse films, reading and playing, watching football. Pretty boring but there ya go! Oh yeah, that and xbox live!PeaceRob

Singer songwriters

The world is seemingly awash with Singer Songwriters at the moment. But this term, I think, does a great disservice to the musicians that play on their records. Take for example, my favourite artist o...
