I am here for Friends and Networking

About Me

Entertainment & Civil Litigation (defense) Attorney living in Chicago, IL (Lakeview/Wrigleyville). Former lead guitarist for Malpractice LTD (Chicago, IL) and Sour Mash (Boulder, Co). With these bands I've had the opportunity to open for some of my rock and roll heros such as VINCE NEIL, THIN LIZZY, MONTROSE, AND SPONGE.In 2006, I accepted a position in A & R at majorlabelscout.com, which is a private venture that works closely with Arista/J Records and its other major label clients to identify potential artist signings. In 2008, the company entered into a joint venture with EMI Publishing (EMI Music Group) and relocated to their New York offices. So far, three of our artists have been signed to major label contracts. Inward Eye (J Records), Jason Reeves (Warner Brothers), and Joe Brooks (Lava/Universal).

My Interests

I'd like to meet:

Entertainers (musicians, actors, comedians, models, etc.) & Athletes, or those in the industry in need of representation. I do and/or have done managment contracts, agent agreements, recording contracts, production contracts, publishing agreements, licensing, performance agreements, trademarks, copyrights, incorporation, and contract review/negotiation. I'm also currently in litigation, so feel comfortable resolving disputes through the courts (if necessary). Rates will vary.IN GENERAL: Other musicians, bands, booking agents, managers, promoters, attorneys, and those willing to teach me things or share their experiences.NOTE: If you are a band or solo artist, please submit a message/email before submitting your material for consideration.
