"The Merger", a synergy between "Thermal Soundwaves" and "Music Is My Business" has been formed in part to pay tribute to music/mixtape pioneer Justo Faison. The tribute will be in the form of a compilation mixtape CD and DVD-Documentary, narrated by Hollywood Director Bill Duke. It will include testimonies, memoirs and acknowledgements of Justo by many individuals who benefited from the various opportunities that the Mixtape Awards created. In addition to Film Pioneer and Director Bill Duke, notables like: DJ Whoo Kid, DJ Kay Slay, Ralph McDaniels, DJ Premier, Tony Touch, Mike 5000 Watts, Sean Prez, Lloyd Banks, Killer Mike, and Bobbito Garcia have given their support to the project.
