The middle child of Johnny Whitaker and Micheale Bartee. He took and interest in music at an early age playing the piano and various other instruments. At age 13 his uncles and first cousin formed a rap group called Fired Up Click. They recorded many song in there own home and produced their own beats. This is where Stephen developed a love for making beats. He bought a keyboard started creating what he thought were masterpieces. Over the years he progressed and had four of his beats featured on J-Hurts first album The Realist. After that Stephen went on to form his very own rap group with longtime friend Boris Ballin J Bailey, brother Sean Sean Whit Whitaker, and Anthony A-Lynn Lynn. They were very raw and didnt know what to talk about , plus Stephen was only producing at the time. Like in many instants life got in the way and everyone went their separate way but Stephen continued to make beats. At this point it Stephen and his brother, they decided to make their own cd entitled The Whits. The reaction this cd had on the public empowered them to make The Whits Pt. 2 witch feature better sound and more versatility. Getting better with every song they record the decide to record The Whits Pt.3 but towards the end of recording the cd it was leaked. So Stephen decided he would push the cd back to bring something that the public hadnt heard from them yet. So they went back to their roots and teamed up with Ballin J and record Southside Takeova Vol.1 witch was a big success thanks to the hit songs Slo Mo and Slo Mo Pt.2. Stephens mission is to become one of hottest producers in the industry
