Amouré (pronounced uh-mor), South Florida's new Jazz'd-out R&B and Soulful Hip-Hop sensation, is a quiet storm. Born in Miami, Florida, Amouré has risen to the top of the underground platform. He was birthed with music in his heart and a song on his lips. Like many other artists, he started off singing in church at the tender age of 6. Amouré co-owns and co-founded Beatboxx Ent., Inc., alongside longtime friend and CEO, Livingston "T-Plus" Penn. He has formal training in dance for close to two decades. His mother started him off in performing arts preschool and ever since, he has pushed himself to become one of the most dynamic and prolific dancers in the craft of Hip-Hop, today. He has trained in Ballet, Jazz, Modern, Tap, African, Lyrical, and Hip-Hop. Presently, he dances and choreographs with Pfuzion Dance Entertainment, a dance company that specializes in Hip-Hop Theatre, which is under the direction of outstanding choreographer, Pablo Malco, and the artistic direction of Athena Nobles, who, in herself, is amazing. He has danced with Pop Starz, Inc., one of South Florida's most highly acclaimed Hip-Hop centers, Sean's Dance Factory, Children of the Caribbean, Parkway Pizazz Jazz Dance Company, just to name a few. He has also had the opportunity to work ONE ON ONE with Mia Michaels, Wade Robson, Darrin Henson, Kehynde Hill, Shane Sparks, Brice Vick, Chris Judd, Chris Jones, Tawanna Hall-Charlton, Dave Scott, Gerard Heintz, Anita McBeth, and many many more outstanding choreographers and instructors. Many South Florida recording artists, such as Bishop Connail Johnson, Ms. Row, Alex Bradd'n, Miss Akari and international recording artist, Don Philip, utilizes him as their choreographer. He also teach classes at On Your Toes Dance Academy (Sunrise, FL), University Center for the Performing Arts (Davie, FL), the Junkyard Dance Complex (Hollywood, FL) and 6th Street Dance Studio (Miami, FL). In the year 2007 he choreographed for the Plies "Definition of Real" Promo Tour and a year later was given the opportunity to choreograph, along side 2 other choreographers, for the "How She Move" Movie Promo in Miami. Returning the thought of music, Amouré has never received formal vocal training, but God has gifted him with an outstanding voice, that surpasses all understanding. He was given the opportunity to sing for Eric Benét, international recording artist, live in front of a packed-house audience at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Hollywood, Florida. Amouré made such a dynamic impression on Mr. Benét, he offered to work with him under his own management. "No matter what path I journey down in life, I'm content to acknowledge God for all He is and all is does in my life.," proclaims Amouré. His greatest influences come from his godfather/father in ministry (pastor), national recording artist, Bishop Connail Johnson, gospel extraordinaires, Kim Burrell & J. Moss (noted for their ability to DYNAMICALLY exploit the musical scale), Barry White, Peabo Bryson, and Jeffery Osbourne. Wrekonize, the winner of the MTV Battle of the MCs and Miami's lyrical genius, has mentored Amouré since their high school days and embraced him into his non-exclusive recording label, Parallax Presentations. Amouré is presently represented by management company, Steele1 Management and DDO New York. You can catch him as a principal dancer in the Sean Kingston video for "Fire Burning" and in the backgrounds of Lil' Wayne's video for "Always Strapped." He is a singer, song-writer, producer, vocal arranger, master choreographer, instructor, dancer, and OVERALL entertainer.
