Well, this is me! I currently live in Brisbane, Australia and am loving being back and being somewhat normal now for nearly 18 months (scarey!!), after over 8 years of working overseas on and off. I travelled to heaps of places singing with various bands in hotels and on ships - USA, UK, Shanghai, Bangkok, Jakarta, Bali,Surabaya, Seoul,United Arab Emirates (Oman and Bahrain), all through the Carribean and the Baltic (Russia, Sweden, Finland, Norway, Estonia, Denmark, Belgium, Bermuda etc etc)and more!! Had an absolutely awesome time seeing the world and making some great friends all over - and I do still miss it heaps. Who knows when the next trip will be?? But, it is just so great to be in my home town with my great mates here just doing the 'normal' life again - it really is so nice! ------------------------------------------------------------ -------------------- As for lovelife, I have a wonderful (incredibly hot!) boyfriend, Scott, who lives in New Zealand (yeh, I know what's with that?? - somethings got to give hey!) At the moment, we play the long distance game which is 'oh so much fun'. No really, we do it exceptionally well weirdly enough!! Try to keep to the no longer than 6 weeks rule - and counting!!! The plan is for him to move to Oz in January and I will be one happy little girl when that happens! He is one fabulous man and I am one extremely lucky girl :)
I own a great little place in Brissy and adore it!! In the day hours I do youth work for RED FROGS AUSTRALIA (check out www.redfrogs.com.au)which is part of my great church, Citipointe Brisbane, and it is my all time favourite job in the world! We work at big events like Schoolies, Uni O week, Skate comps/tours and music festivals with the youth as a safety network for them at their parties/events and in areas such as alcohol, drugs, assault and other issues that affect kids so greatly these days. The "RED FROG" is totally dominating the world of youth it seems! It is such a great job and I feel so privileged that I get to even play a part in the organisation. My church is the best church ever and is such an inspiring place to be planted. God is such an awesome God and never ceases to amaze me how gracious, loving and....HUGE he is - without Him I don't want to even think where I would be! Mwah xxx!! ---------------------- The rest of my time my life is music and singing. Earlier this year I performed a 3 month season in a music theatre production at Harvest Rain Theatre in Brisbane. The show was "Children of Eden". I had the time of my life performing with some of the best talent I have ever seen and making many friendships that will last a lifetime. I miss them all so much now it is all past tense!!Love them to bits!! ---------------------- Other than that, I usually gig around town in the corporate scene with various bands. Can't complain getting paid to do what you love hey? --------------------- Well, I think that may be it for me I would say! I have the most lovely family in the world - my Mum and Dad live in Brisbane and my brother Shane and his wife, Zenny, live in Shenzhen, China, where my brother sings/plays guitar and manages a 6 piece band (CRAVE) there. Rock on!! ---------------------------------------------------------- So as an overview, I love life and think mine is pretty great. The future really is pretty endless in opportunities for true happiness for all of us ...it is making yourself available to them that is the key! ------ Ciao xx
