[ Joe ]

I'm Joe..(or Joseppi or peach to my mates... dont ask) I'm almost 23 and have spent the last year after finishing university trying to work out what i would like to do in my life. This mainly consisted of working at Electronic Arts for 10 months 'testing' a computer game. But i have recently quit to give myself a bit of a push in the right direction. I have infact now found what i want to do in my life and i have set about forcing my way into the industry. What i am talking about is the Arts world. By that i mean music, theatre etc. Idealy i want to work for a majoy music festival all year round organising it, however that is a little far off. I have been writing to countless Record Companys, Art centers and music festivals trying to get a foot in the door and have been rather successful. I recently worked as assistant concert manager at Bath international Music festival and had a great time, and the CV is starting to look pretty good. so there is light at the end of the tunnel.
I love musicand films, and especially music festivals, of which i have been to many. I am rather obsessed with Reading festival, to the extent that i have been all weekend for the last 7 years (roughly 35 days and over 800 hours) and will continue to goto till i have done 10 in a row. last year was quality, the best i have been to and was a very very messy 5 days sitting in a field. We met two really safe people who camped with us (hi Hailey and Rich), i made a few enemys and may never be welcome in Dorking again (hahahaha it was so fucking worth it). I didnt see many bands, but then again there were not many people i wanted to see. Best acts i saw were defenatly Soulwax/2ManyDJ's in the Radio Soulwax set (lasted 5 hours) which was bloody fantastic. Switches were a close second and then Artic Monkeys (even tho i dont like their music). I also managed to see Kaiser Chiefs, Muse, the Streets and possibly one or two more i am forgetting. The weekend was fantastic tho, a few arguments, much more fun, lots of beer and left with the going to die feeling lol
