About Me

Good day
Am nearly 20 (kind've a weird thought)
2nd year at uni
Finally have direction in life
Love music.
Like to think about the big questions
goes to two churches
likes people who are laid back, cheerful and not awkward
if your one of these people then we'd probably get on fine
Winter is better than summer
Politics is something i get a little worked up over. If you get me started talking about it, you wont be able to stop me.
Now days i spend my time recording, mixing and (attempting) to master music.
On having an open mind:
"Everything we shut our eyes to, everything we run away from, everything we deny, denigrate, or despise, serves to defeat us in the end. What seems nasty, painful, evil, can become a source of beauty, joy, and strength, if faced with an open mind. Every moment is a golden one for him who has the vision to recognize it as such." - Henry Miller
“Among the many thousands of things that I have never been able to understand, one in particular stands out. That is the question of who was the first person who stood by a pile of sand and said, "You know, I bet if we took some of this and mixed it with a little potash and heated it, we could make a material that would be solid and yet transparent. We could call it glass." Call me obtuse, but you could stand me on a beach till the end of time and never would it occur to me to try to make it into windows.” - Bill Bryson
Why do people with small minds always have such large mouths?" - unknown author
On Music:
I think I should have no other mortal wants, if I could always have plenty of music. It seems to infuse strength into my limbs and ideas into my brain. Life seems to go on without effort, when I am filled with music. - George Elliot
Play the music, not the instrument - unknown author
On Food:
My favorite animal is steak. - Fran Lebowitz
“To my mind, the only possible pet is a cow. Cows love you. . . . They will listen to your problems and never ask a thing in return. They will be your friends forever. And when you get tired of them, you can kill and eat them. Perfect.” - Bill Bryson
On Religion:
Everyone ought to worship God according to his own inclinations, and not to be constrained by force. - Flavius Josephus
My argument against God was that the universe seemed so cruel and unjust. But how had I got this idea of just and unjust? A man does not call a line crooked unless he has some idea of a straight line. What was I comparing this universe with when I called it unjust? - C.S Lewis
On Love:
Love is an exploding cigar we willingly smoke - Lynda Barry
Could you imagine how horrible things would be if we always told others how we felt? Life would be intolerably bearable. - Randy K. Milholland
On Politics:
A conservative government is an organized hypocrisy. - Benjamin Disraeli
The word 'politics' is derived from the word 'poly', meaning 'many', and the word 'ticks', meaning 'blood sucking parasites'. - Larry Hardiman
The greatest song ever written?
