Vyrtuoso Productions

About Me

Vyrtuoso Productions, as the name would imply, is not a band exactly but a music production resource, established to provide the following services to local musical artists who are starting out and have neither bountiful moolah to pay costlier establishments nor the know-how and equipment to pursue the very American undertaking of do-it-yourself: audio recording, MIDI sequencing, multi-track mixing, installation, live sound, live recording, composing, arranging, and electric guitar performance.

Behind this particular establishment is its operator, Sam Prado, a sound engineer who prefers the excitement of freelancing (which is a variant expression that conveys the idea of having no steady gig). This experienced musician whose musical roots are grounded upon soft rock, hair bands, Christian pop, J-pop, jazz, and classical had early on developed a love of audio engineering, and expresses that love by doing that very same thing done by countless others possessing greater, equal, and even lesser abilities who have come before him...producing music.

Gifted by God (that bothersome Fellow who always gets in the way of our liberty and about whom is rumored to have that only begotten Son...you know, Him) with humble musical faculties (as humble as a guitar shredder gets anyway), and blessed with the finest computer ever invented (the Mac) and Digital Performer , Vyrtuoso Productions' creative output can be interesting to the discriminating tastes of musical connoisseurs and also simply enjoyable to the laity whose ears are undefiled by music theory and other esoteric concerns of musical elites [though you might contend that I'm being awfully presumptuous in saying this based on a handful of anecdotes].

What one sees here right now is just the start of what is hopefully a fascinating musical journey. More will come over time, God (that same One who also says of Himself to subsist in three distinct personalities) willing there'll be days for them. So stick with me throughout this journey...and feel free to call me for gigs!
