That's MR Motherfucker to you!

About Me

Hello. I'm Toby.

I'm a little different to a lot of people, and that's the way I like it. At the same time, though, the people who know me reasonably well tell me they've never known anyone else quite like me, and they say I'm pretty unique and also a great guy. I like to surprise other people a little bit. The close friends I've got are the people I would bend over backwards for. They're fucking fantastic, and most of them you can find in my top 24.

Generally I believe in each to their own, but I have little time for supposedly "alternative" kids going in for the same image...why the fuck would you want to waste your time looking the same as everyone else? Have some sense, do. Oh, and I also can't stand it when people feel the need to label themselves as goth, chav, emo, whatever. If you do that, the only label you deserve is "moron". Simple as.

I'm not a two faced person either. If there's one thing I don't see the point of, it's being nice to people who in all probability will talk about you behind your back, which in turn will lead you think that you wouldn't piss in their ear if their brain was on fire. Not only that, it's given me a profound hatred of twats with their heads up their arses who think they're the shit when in reality they deserve to beaten around the head with a sharp object or five.

I don't like people an awful lot, but at the same time I like to look beneath the surface with a lot of them, in the hope that something good exists. That said, I've met most of the best people I've ever met in my life within the last three years, and I couldn't imagine what my life would be like if I'd never met them. At the same time, a lot of what people say about me is hype. I'm actually a really nice person.

People: If you've added me or if I've added you, there's a high chance I've done it for any of the following reasons:
1. I know you, or our paths have crossed either online or in the real world before.
2. I like your music taste, even if we might only have a few bands or artists in common there.
3. I like your interests, if there are people who have an interest that they want to share then that's cool with me, even if it's not something I'm interested in myself. Like juggling, for example. I like watching people juggle, but I can't do it myself because I lack the hand to eye co-ordination skills.
4. A combination of the above. If I feel I would get on well with you in any capacity, then I will add you. See, told you I was a nice person really.

Bands: If you're going to add me, kindly leave me a message first. Don't go adding me without messaging me first, it's indicative of a lack of common courtesy. If you do end up doing that, I may do one of two things: 1) Turn down your request flat out, or 2) ignore you. Which is even worse. I'm more likely to accept requests without messages from bands I know or at the very least, bands I have heard of, though.

I also write reviews of albums and gigs and stuff for a music based website called Blastwave. So far I have just over 130 and counting up on the site (I put most of that down to boredom at Uni). Which isn't bad going given that I've been on the team for nearly four years. I review anything I really please (Especially given that my tastes in music are pretty broad, as you can see). And just in case you care enough to do so, you can have a read of them here . See, even a computer illiterate monkey like me can get that right. Isn't that amazing, kids?

Additionally, I'm a man of the stage, having completed an outdoor tour with the Crescent Theatre players in Brum as part of the cast of "A Man For All Seasons". With some luck I should be getting more parts here and there, though no doubt competition is gonna be REALLY fierce.

I would apologise for writing such a long "About Me" section, but if I did, we all know that I'd be lying, so I'm not going to bother. I like to think that I'm being honest here, as it's better to be like that instead of a piss poor imitation of someone else. And the real reason I did this is because I'm bored and I have too much time on my hands.
And if you made it all the way to the end without falling asleep, then well done. I'll send you a biscuit in the post or something.

Also, you should leave me comments and messages if you so wish. I'm normally very good at replying to comments, messages take me longer to reply to though I get there eventually.
I created my own profile using nUCLEArcENTURy.COM and you should too!

I'd like to meet:

Anyone, really. I'm not that fussy. But if I was, then I guess I'd really like to meet the following people:

Someone who can hold a conversation which will go in all sorts of directions. Someone who I can quote old comedy sketch shows with. Someone who can think for themselves instead of going with the opinions of the masses. Someone who's never done a shotgun before. A girl who can provide me with coffee, a cuddle and a shoulder to cry on if ever I need it, and vice versa. (Yes, I've got a sensitive side, what of it?) Someone to stay up with and talk total shit to way into the small hours of the morning.
And lastly: Pretty much everyone on my friends list who I haven't yet met. I'm sure I could see myself getting along well with you, rest assured you wouldn't be on my friends list if I couldn't.

Music:

Hmm, tricky one. I'd say I like a little bit of everything, but I can't really say that without coming across as a Radio 1 listener. But, I can be found enjoying everything from movie soundtracks to jazz to death metal and pretty much anything else in between, as long as it's not UK Garage or RnB! Anyway, here's some of the stuff I enjoy:
