too many people to name. of course, GOD and people from the past like MLK (cause that man was sexy, a leader, and intelligent. things I like in a man) Malcolm X, Harriet Tubman, Madame CJ Walker (to thank her for keeping my hair together with creamy crack aka perms) Eve (so I can fight her from eating the apple from the tree. oranges, pears, and peaches are from trees? why apples, why not a vegetable instead?)
a variety. just for grins, let go with johns. john coltrane, john mayer, john legend, and lil' john (only when I'm gettin ready to go out or fight a heffa) but r&b, soul, neo (or real world common sense)soul, rock & roll, blues, jazz, gospel, classical, funk, hip hop, techno, world music, & music that has a beat and makes sense (NOTE: so if your song sounds like everybody else's right down to the beat, has a senseless dance to it that folks get proud that they baby can do, and almost the same song as someone else's, not a favorite of mine)
i love to laugh so comedies are a must. but i like movies that make u think. predictable is so boring. a few of my favorites:COLOR PURPLE. (just the scene with sophie and harpo's new woman...classic and brook valentine's inspiration)JACKIE'S BACK (a satirical look at a has been washed-up "motown" diva. If it's funny to no one else, it's funny to me)A Lesson Before Dying. (no matter what people may think about you, what you think about SELF is the most important)
