I am happily married to a soldier (for almost seven years!!) and have loved every minute of it. He has been a paratrooper out of Fort Bragg, and now is a part of the Big Red 1. HARKWATER" .. end banner-->I have two young boys. Shawn is 5 1/2 and is now in Kindergarten. He was diagnosed with mild spectrum autism when he was two. Luckily, it mainly affects his speech and for the most part, no one that meets him notices that he is autistic. We're hopeful that he'll outgrow it with time and the help that he is getting. He does have a few of the autistic traits, though, like the ability to build something after seeing it once, and the fine motor skills in his hands. He loves school. Shawn is also crazy about Star Wars and Spiderman, Superman and the other comic book hero movies. And he also enjoys watching the Pirates of the Caribbean movies! Kid has great tastes already! LOL

Nathan turned 4 this year and is honery as his father! Nathan is your average, ordinary boy. Always into something and totally fearless! He is really into dinosaurs, and can already name six different ones on sight. He loves the Jurassic Park movies, and is hooked on Snakes on a Plane at the moment. We're very proud of him. And he takes after his father, right up to the cowboy hat he wants to wear with his wranglers!! LOL Nathan is in the EDCE again this year, to get help with his speech, since it was beginning to mimic his brothers. Now, he can be a better peer for Shawn with speech... ..
